The 1891 census shows George Fairgrieve in Waterloo Township. George is 46 and shown as a farmer. With him is brother John, age 50, who is also shown as a farmer, but also as a domestic. Also in the household is Maggie Stalker, age 24, who is shown as a housekeeper. George and Maggie were married in 1892.
