The groom was Methodist and the bride Presbyterian. Jennie, as she was known, was born in North Dumfries, Waterloo County. |

| Note | Birth reg. 031870-79 North Dumfries, Waterloo Co. Mary Jane Buchanan born 28th April 1879. Parents Theron Buchanan, farmer, and Jane Hunt. Physician Dr. Smith. Informant Theron Buchanan, North Dumfries. At the time of the 1911 census, Mary and William are in Qu'Apelle, Saskatchewan. William is a druggist. With them are three children. The writing is difficult and the ink was degraded by the time the page was microfilmed. The July 9th, 1973, editions of both the Toronto Globe and Star, for that date only, show the following death notice: Hunter, Mary Jane In her 95th year, beloved mother of Greta, Howard and Reville. At North York General Hospital, Thursday, July 5, 1973. Private family service was held at Galt. It should be noted that transcriptions of the 1911 census at Qu'Appelle appear to show the name of the youngest son as Rowell. This however may have been written as Revell. Reville, as shown in the death notice, is correct. |
