| Note | A story regarding the estate of George Lucas appears in the Toronto Star edition of 21 November, 1932. The date of Greta's birth is taken from an index provided online by the Saskatchewan Government. A marriage registration for Greta Hunter and George Kendall Lucas has recently been found. Their marriage is dated 5 April, 1926, in the District of Columbia. See marriage notes. A descendant of Theron Buchanan, Theron Brock Buchanan, left information stating that Greta was married twice and that her second husband was Murray Sturrock. It is not presently known when Greta and Murray were married, but it is believed that Greta had two children, sons, by Murray Sturrock and while some evidence has been found placing the family in Toronto, their later years appear to have been spent in Texas. See notes for Murray. The US Social Security index shows a date of death for Greta Sturrock as 5 Jan 1995. The record shows her date of birth as 20 March 1907. The Social Security number was issued in Pennsylvania, but her Death Residence Locality is given as Roanoke, Virginia. A conflicting family report places her death in Galt (Cambridge), Ontario. |
