| Note | As mentioned in notes under husband Haggai Cook, Ernest Green states that Sarah Durham's parents were James and Eve Durham. Where James is buried, we do not know. It may be that Eve is buried in Homer Anglican Cemetery in Grantham Township. This according to Dr. Reive. (Dr. W. G. Reive Collection, Cemeteries and graves in Niagara, Douglas Robbins, St. Catharines, 1991). Page 31 of this work covers some Durhams in Home Cemetery, which Reive visited in August of 1926. He notes: Durham, Eve, wife of James, 1743-1825 A grave for James is not mentioned. Haggai Cook and Sarah Durham almost certainly had a daughter Mira Cook who married Austin Morse. They are buried in Drummond Hill Cemetery. They in turn had a son who they named Marsena Morse. This has not been researched. |
