| Note | Initially, Laura's years of birth and death are taken from a photograph of her gravestone as provided by CanGenWeb. The names of her parents, Hiram and Hannah, are noted on her marriage registration. She is found with her parents in the 1901 census at Windham Township and her date of birth, 5 February, 1867, is shown. It's interesting to note that in this census the Parkers were recorded in the household immediately prior to that of William's parents, William and Ann Hillard. William's acquaintance with Laura was probably of some years duration. Laura's parents' names are shown on her marriage registration as Hiram Parker and Hannah Middaugh. They too are buried in Bookton Cemetery and there are Middaughs buried there as well. |
