Usual residence Normanby Township. Parents Alfred Widmeyer, farmer, and Wilhelmina Schenk. 'Catherina' Feick, 25, spinster, Lutheran. Usual residence Normanby Township. Parents Leonard Feick, farmer, and Magdalena Lanz. Witnesses George Feick and Albert Widmeyer, both of Normanby. On 16 January, 1909, at Neustadt, Grey County, by Rev. H. Schulz. By Banns.l We must believe that Catherina's name, so entered as the bride, was some sort of clerical error. The year before, Catherina, Christina's sister, was married to Enoch Rossworm. The 1911 census in Normanby shows Oscar married to Christina and they have two children with them, one born in November of 1910 and a second born in January of 1911. Enoch Rossworm and his wife Catherine also appear in the 1911 census, in Carrick Township in Bruce County. The entry of Catherine's name in the above registration can only be an error. |
