Cause of death consumption 4 weeks. Physician Dr. Morton. Informant John Cook, father of deceased, North Easthope. Both Find-a-Grave and CanGenWeb have photos of this rather worn stone. Find-a-Grave interprets the date of her birth as August 2, 1854. Early census records show Catharina's maiden name to be Koch whereas later records spell the name as Cook. Koch does appear to be correct. Certainly 'Koch' was used on her marriage registration. |
