The county marriage registrations do not typically tell the exact location of marriage. Christian and Maria may have been married in St. Catharines, but it is rather more likely that they were married at the home of a family member. |

An obituary for Maria appears in the January 29, 1908, edition of the Gospel Witness. It essentially compares well with the information in her death registration. It does describe her death as occuring at her home in 'South' Township, a common error with the name of Louth Township. |
