NoteHe A death registration for Albert House has not been found, however we have two sources relating to his death.

The first is a transcription of Bethesda United Church Cemetery in Ancaster. This records Albert and Clarissa's gravestone. It tells that Albert died on December 8, 1908, in his 61st year.

The second source is to be found on page 267 of Volume 1 of Ancaster's Heritage. Mrs. A. McCulloch, writing a history of lot 31 of the 3rd concession of Ancaster, tells that Albert bought 100 acres of this lot about 1870 and lived out his life there until his death in 1908, when he was accidently shot during a rabbit hunt. Just where this happened is not recorded.
