While it doesn't say so, the clergyman was probably C. J. Lucas. Death reg. 024122-12 Blenheim Twp., Oxford Co. Mabel Henrietta Victoria Rhody died Nov. 11, 1912, at lot 6, concession 14, Blenheim Twp. Age 2 yrs., 7 mos., 11 dys. Infant. Father Henry Rhody, who was born in North Dumfries Township, and Esther Wanner, born Ontario. Physician L. C. Stauffer of New Dundee, Ontario. Cause of death pneumonia. Informant Henry Rhodey, New Dundee, Ont. Henry's surname is spelled with and without the letter E. The Waterloo branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society provides a transcription of Detweiler Mennonite Cemetery near Roseville. This is now, apparently, more commonly known as the Roseville Cemetery. The transcription records Mabel's burial in this cemetery. It does not date the transcription. |
