Mary Lester died 4th June, 1885. Age 75. Born Seymour, England. Physician Chas. G. Moore. Informant C. J. Moore for ...E. D. McLaren.

The original informant may have been Rev. E. D. McLaren, or W. E. D. McLaren. The handwriting is rather illegible on this point. The officiating minister at Mary's burial is simply shown as McLaren on the Toronto Necropolis Cemetery's 1885 burial page. Unusually, Dr. Moore, Mary's physician, appears to be acting as informant in her death on behalf of the clergyman, Rev. McLaren. This isn't typical.

It's interesting that Mary's place of birth is shown as Seymour, England. Baptism for Mary and all her siblings is shown as Seamer. Looking over a map of the area, Seamer does appear to be correct. Seamer, or Seymour as it appears in the above registration, is the one record found so far that indicates it as a place of birth for at least one of the Kidd children. Probably, all of them, thus far recorded, were born there.
