Born North Dumfries. Baptist. Physicians Drs. Lovett & Burt. Cause of death (not entirely legible) ....followed by pneumonia, 4 weeks. Informant Joseph Wrigley, North Dumfries. A direct record of place of burial has not been found, but the Cambridge Archives carries funeral cards and this includes one for young Sylvanus. As with his death registration, this dates his death to 5 February, 1890, and this tells that the funeral will be from his parents' home on Sprague's Road to Mountview Cemetery (now so named) on Friday (February 7th). The funeral card describes him as Joseph and Jane's only son. |
