At the time of their marriage the parents were both residents of Gordon Township. They were engaged in farming. The physician was the late Dr. Johnston. Informant Mrs. Fred Cole, postal address Gore Bay, Ontario. Declaration by aunt with supporting papers: High school entrance; insurance policy; marriage ...illeg... (Signed) Mary A. Cole, Gore Bay, Ontario, on 26 September, 1946. Not processed until April 9, 1947. Page 39 of the July 18, 1988 edition of the Toronto Star carries Gertrude's death notice. This tells that she died at Huntsville on Saturday, July 16, 1988, and that she was buried the following Tuesday in Huntsville. Find-a-Grave has a photograph of the couple's gravestone in Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery, Huntsville. It tells that her husband was Rudolph Wismer. Her maiden name is not stated. |
