The text for the marriage of Henry and Jeretta tells that they were married in Gore Bay, which had it's own registrar. The marriage, however, was registered in Gordon Township.

(The surname of the witnesses and the clergyman are poorly written, but a search of Methodist clergy shows the family name to be Agar.)

The registration for the above marriage was not submitted by the township clerk until January 7, 1895.

Hobart Wilson died July 30, 1900, age 28. Farmer. Residence 8th Con. Gordon. Methodist. Born P.E. County. Cause of death heart disease following rheumatism 14 days. Physician and informant Dr. Johnston.

Henry Hobart's passing would have been difficult to find without the transcription of Gordon Cemetery as provided by Manitoulin Genealogy. He is buried with his parents.
