Thomas Dryden died 18th February, 1881, age 75. Born Roxburghshire, Scotland. Carpenter. Presbyterian. Physician Dr. Brown. Informant Andrew Dryden, Carpenter, Galt.

A place of burial for Thomas and Agnes has not been found. We do not have a date of death or burial for Agnes. The Galt Cemetery was established in July of 1868. It was renamed Mountview in 1886. Prior to 1868, the only cemeteries in Galt were parochial. There were two Presbyterian cemeteries, St. Andrews and First Church's cemetery. When the Galt Cemetery was established in 1868, it is said that the two Presbyterian Cemeteries stopped receiving burials. Whether this is totally true isn't clear. Some stones and remains from St. Andrews are said to have been removed to Mountview in later years, but most remains are said to remain in St. Andrews Park as it is now called. The Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire erected a pergola with some of the stones in 1907. No Dryden stones are there to be found. In the mid 1880s most of the stones and (we must believe) remains (not all), were moved by families to Mountview.

Thomas's parents, Andrew and Janet, are now buried in Mountview. They would not have been so originally, for the Galt/Mountview Cemetery did not exist at the time.

Are Thomas and Agnes buried together? Probably. Just where, we do not know.
