     Margaret Ann Hazelton was born on 7 November 1876 in Newboro, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1 She was the daughter of James Hazelton and Sarah Jane Dunn.1 She was baptized on 25 December 1876 or 25 March 1877 in St Edward the Confessor Church, Westport, Leeds & Grenville County, OntarioG.2,3 She entered the United States on 29 April 1926 at Port Huron, St. Clair County, Michigan, stating that she was a nun and a hospital worker going to St Joseph's Hospital in Hartford, Wisconsin.4 She was superintendant of the nursing sisters in St Joseph's Hospital, Hartford, Washington County, Wisconsin, in 1930.5
