Sarah Rolston was born on 11 October 1859 at Kincardine, Bruce County, Ontario.2,3 She was the daughter of James Rolston and Jane Roney.4,5 She has also been reported to have been born on 11 August 1858 at Ontario.6 She married Thomas Cooper on 16 October 1884 at Southampton, Bruce County, Ontario.4 She died on 11 September 1935 of pneumonia at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, British Columbia, at age 75.2 She was buried on 13 September 1935 at Kamloops, British Columbia.2
A story about the Thomas Cooper family appeared in Bunch Grass to Barbed Wire, a local history of the Kamloops, BC area, published in 1984.7
