     Michael Dunn was born about 1826 at Ballindaggan, Templeshanbo, Co Wexford, Ireland.1,2 He was the son of Martin Dunn and Sarah Keating. He has also been reported to have been born about 1829.3 He and his brother Philip Dunn immigrated about 1848 to South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.4 He was a lock laborer at Jones Falls, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario, about 1849.4 He married Margaret Jordan, daughter of Michael Jordan and Mary Farrell, between 1851 and 1852.5 He died on 2 October 1872 at South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1,6 He was buried on 4 October 1872 at Philipsville Catholic Cemetery, Philipsville, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.7,8
