James Edward Jordan
     James Edward Jordan was born on 28 October 1868 at South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1 He was the son of John Jordan and Johanna Nolan.1 He was baptized on 8 November 1868 at St Edward the Confessor Church, Westport, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1 He married Catherine Burns, daughter of John Burns and Lydia Nolan, on 21 November 1898 at St Philip Neri Church, Toledo, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.2,3 He died on 4 December 1924 of coronary thrombosis (heart attack) suffered while he was cutting wood at South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario, at age 56.4,5,6 He was buried on 6 December 1924 at St Columbanus Cemetery, Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.6,7
