| Note | We know of Jennie only from a transcription of her grave. She died 22 April 1890, age 29 yrs. and 6 months. She was the wife of James McKenzie. She is buried with an infant son in the Thomas McBean family plot. This includes the burial of Angus McBean and his wife Mary Milroy, who, according to the 1881 census, were the parents of Jennie. A death record for Jennie has been found in a Manitoba vital statistics index. She died in Burnside, Manitoba, and the date of death given matches that on her grave in Galt. The birth of an infant is recorded on April 11, 1890, but no name or sex is given. |
