Norma Huber of the Waterloo branch of the Ontario Genealogical has transcribed funeral cards and this tells that John died in Galt on Sunday morning (May 19) at half past seven. The card is dated at Galt on May 20th, 1895. His funeral is at 2 o'clock from his late residence on Spruce Street to Mountview Cemetery on Tuesday, which is the 21st. The funeral card shows his age at date of death as being 79 years, 7 months, and 16 days. His date of birth is calculated from this. |
