| Note | William Enoch Cornell is with his parents at the time of the 1861 and 1871 censuses in Bosanquet Township, Lambton County. A sure record of him has not been found in the 1881 census. William married Mary Sibbald Park in 1883 at Ivanhoe, Manitoba, according to a Manitoba Vital Statistics record. We find William and Mary at Broadview in Eastern Assiniboia at the time of the 1891 census. With them are three children, John 6, Clara 3, and Violet 1. They are all said to be born in Eastern Assiniboia. William and the children are shown as Baptists; Mary is shown as a Presbyterian. Her place of birth is given as Ontario and her age as 29. Both her parents are said to be born in Scotland. |
