Michael Doyle

     Michael Doyle was born on 18 March 1870 in South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1 His death records erroneously state that he was born on 18 March 1872.2,3,4 He was the son of Michael Doyle and Elizabeth Mary Dunn.1 He was baptized on 1 May 1870 in St Edward the Confessor Church, Westport, Leeds & Grenville County, OntarioG.1 He moved to New Westminster, British Columbia, about 1893.3,4 He was employed by Essondale Mental Hospital, New Westminster, British Columbia, as an assistant store-keeper between 1903 and 1938.4 He lived in the home of his sister-in-law Mary Ann (Hamilton) Doyle in 511 Kelly Street, Sapperton, (New Westminster), British ColumbiaG, in November 1938.4 He died on 26 November 1938 of arteriosclerosis, myocarditis and chronic nephritis in New Westminster, British Columbia, at age 68.3,4 He was buried on 30 November 1938 in St Peter's Cemetery, New Westminster, British ColumbiaG.2,3,4 He was never married.5,4,3
