She was born about 1804 in Ardclinis, Co Antrim, IrelandG.1,2 She married John Hamilton in Co Antrim, IrelandG.3 She and John Hamilton and their 8 children immigrated to Ontario in 1847.4 She was named as an heir and executrix in her husband's (John Hamilton's) will dated 21 July 1866 in Newboro, Leeds County, Ontario.5 She was left a widow when John Hamilton died on 22 August 1871.6,7 She died on 5 August 1884 of dropsy in Bedford Twp, Frontenac County, Ontario.1 She was buried in St Edward's Cemetery, Bedford Twp, Frontenac County, OntarioG.8,9
