James Jordan was born about 1828 in Ballindaggan, Templeshanbo, Co Wexford, IrelandG.1,2 He was the son of Michael Jordan and Mary Farrell.1,2 He immigrated to South Crosby Twp, Leeds County, Ontario, with his parents Michael Jordan and Mary Farrell between 1845 and 1847.3,4
Research Note: I have assumed that Michael Jordan, Mary Farrell, and their children were born in Ballindaggin, Co Wexford because their daughter Margaret's tombstone says "native of Ballindaggin, County Wexford, Ireland."1
