     Mary Farrell was born about 1807 in Co Wexford, IrelandG.2,3 She married Michael Jordan before 1828 in Co Wexford, Ireland. She and Michael Jordan immigrated between 1845 and 1847 to South Crosby Twp, Leeds County, Ontario.4,5 She died on 10 August 1847.6 There is a tombstone commemorating Mary Farrell in Philipsville Catholic Cemetery, Philipsville, Leeds & Grenville County, OntarioG. The stone was erected by her son John long after her death. She may or may not be buried there.

Research Note: It is possible that Mary died in Grosse Ile, Quebec or onboard ship shortly before arrival there. There are 4 reported deaths of women named Mary Farrell at Grosse Ile on 10 Aug 1847. Several ships arrived from Ireland on 9 & 10 Aug - she could have been a passenger on one of them.
