She emigrated on 19 September 1924 from Helsinki, Finland. She was a third class passenger on the SS Montrose which arrived in Quebec City on 26 Sep 1924.3 She married Joseph Gordon Doyle, son of James Joseph Doyle and Mary Ann Hamilton, on 18 May 1927 in St Peter's Rectory, New Westminster, British Columbia.4 Sisters Ellen and Gertude Naas married brothers Gordon and Charles Doyle. She lived in #106 4275 Grange Street, Burnaby, British Columbia, in 1983.2 She died on 16 February 1983 in Burnaby General Hospital, Burnaby, British Columbia, at age 79.1,2 She was buried on 18 February 1983 in Fraser Cemetery, New Westminster, British ColumbiaG.1,2

Ellen's sister Gerda Louisa Naas married Charles Michael Doyle, Joseph Gordon Doyle's brother.
