This site documents one of my Loyalist ancestors and some of his descendants. James Jones, my fourth-great-grandfather left Ulster County, New York and settled in the Niagara region of Ontario as a United Empire Loyalist in about 1780. The families included here are descendants of James' son Andrew who moved to Wentworth County around 1800. The emphasis here is on Andrew's son James Jones although other branches, such as Catherine (Jones) Coleman and George Jones, are also included.

This site is updated frequently as I discover new information.
