Mary Jordan

     Mary Jordan was born in June 1843 in Ballindaggan, Templeshanbo, Co Wexford, IrelandG.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of Michael Jordan and Mary Farrell.3,5 She immigrated to South Crosby Twp, Leeds County, Ontario, with her parents Michael Jordan and Mary Farrell between 1845 and 1847.6,7 She married Charles Hamilton, son of John Hamilton and Rose McCarney, between 1861 and 1863 in Ontario.2 She died on 5 December 1874 of consumption in South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario, at age 31.2,1 She was buried in Philipsville Catholic Cemetery, Philipsville, Leeds & Grenville County, OntarioG.2

Research Note: I have assumed that Michael Jordan, Mary Farrell, and their children were born in Ballindaggin, Co Wexford because their daughter Margaret's tombstone says "native of Ballindaggin, County Wexford, Ireland."4
