Church record of marriage by banns:
Marriages solemnized in the Parish of St. Leonard, Shoreditch, in the County of Middlesex in the Year 1833
Benjamin Hyams of this parish, bachelor, and Ann Parkinson of this parish, spinster were married in this church by Banns this thirtieth day of November in the year One thousand eight hundred and thirty three by me, Walter Kelly, Curate.
This marriage was solemnized between us (apparently signature) Benjamin Hyams; Ann Parkinson X her mark.
In the presence of: William Parkinson X his mark; Elizabeth Law X her mark. And signed beneath that, apparently on behalf of the church, Geo Yarrow.

It's interesting that although Benjamin's name is spelled as Hyams on his marriage registration, he usually appears as Himes on census enumerations.
